This wiki and a blog well serve as communication, organization, and knowledge management tools to bolster the processes of developing my dissertation that focuses on KM and organizational change. The goal is to complete my Ph.D. in Applied Management and Knowledge Management from Walden University.
This wiki accompanied by themy blog will serve as an ad-hoc KM laboratory of sorts. Currently, I would like to focus on Web 2.0 KS/KM collaboration systems and the impact on knowledge workers social interactions and knowledge transfer as they relate to competitive advantage.
Possible Research:
Investigating Web 2.0 tools to move knowledge workers beyond tacit knowledge management to collaborative knowledge sharing: Examining individual connections as a primary factor of KM.
The primary aim is to compare and evaluate web 2.0 collaborative models that place human interactions at the center of knowledge sharing/knowledge management systems. This model is based on building personal relationships and interactions with co-workers with respect to organization and communication channels for understanding knowledge dynamics and transfers in an organization.
