This wiki and a blog well serve as communication, organization, and knowledge management tools to bolster the processes of developing my dissertation that focuses on KM and organizational change. The goal is to complete my Ph.D. in Applied Management and Knowledge Management from Walden University.

Employees accumulate a tremendous amount of business knowledge throughout their careers, leaving organizations stranded if that knowledge is not shared with others once an employee retires. Corporate managers needs to cultivate an environment where generationally diverse employees can share knowledge gained through experience. Generation X and millennial workers will account for a combined 60 or 70 percent of the working population in 2016 and will carry businesses through this inevitable workforce transition. Employers need to better prepare themselves prior to this workforce shift by assessing their workforce needs today. An unwavering effort is required to transfer knowledge between workers before it becomes a crisis.
